O&P meet up in the UK?

Since there are so many munches already, I think we should avoid just duplicating the munch format. Something similar, that's informal but not completely munch-like might work well again, not least because it should be worthwhile travelling to.
For locations, I'd like to try organising one in Manchester - say a month today? (Sat 6th or Sun 7th of March) If there's sufficient demand, then I'd hope people would organise one-off events themselves in other parts of the country.
Does that sound interesting? Anyone have more ideas or suggestions about events?
